9/11 NEVER FORGET.
In remembrance of 9/11, the colleagues from the fire and security departments of Lelystad Airport took on a sportive challenge by participating in the ‘Fire Stair Climb’ at the WTC tower in Almere.
They climbed 30 floors and 600 steps while wearing firefighting gear, including oxygen masks. Employees from the police, ambulance, and defense also joined the event in their work attire.
Over €25,000 was raised for the charity ‘Firefighters without Borders – Brandweer zonder Grenzen.’ What an amazing amount.
